Need new categories

Hi!
I need the following categories so I can accurately list a lot of my Disney items & Christmas items.
SUGGESTION: 1)Toys -- TV & related... -- separate subcategory for: Princesses then another for Cinderella
SUGGESTION: 2) Occasions/Seasonal -- Christmas -- separate subcategories for: Artificial trees, Outdoor decor, Wreaths, Garland, Lights, Tree toppers

Being pretty new here, I'm wondering if someone who can actually help us get the categories we need monitors or reads the category suggestions that we post. I've over 100 listings with no place that really fits yet. How long does it take for a new needed category to be approved, rejected or get into place?

I don't know Linda, but I'm sure you realise that a request is different to a demand - requests need to be considered along with eBids other business needs, and it's just great that we're able to make requests at all!

For instance, perhaps eBid consider all requests once a month, so they can see all the dozens of requests that come in all together? Perhaps eBid need to consider how many Sellers each request will impact?

The New Category Forum is the right place to discuss these things, and I'm certain they are reflected on by eBid, but it would be silly to expect a response in such a short time. Let's thank eBid for their consideration of our needs and trust that, while not every request can be satisfied, every request is considered in balanced manner.

Every so often Gazza has a category blitz and adds a whole load. Recent influxes of new members as well as Denial of Service attacks have made sure that he has been very busy.

Just be patient - he will deliver - he always does.

I wasn't demanding anything. I was asking about the process here, hoping a knowledgable person would respond. Thanks to Madelaine, I now have the answer.

yes i agree w/ the poster above. some people have their things all over the place making it very hard to find.
