Not only does the site remove the £ but it does so without warning me!

You have completely failed to understand what I meant when I commented on whining - my point was that any specialist advertising would result in whining from those who sell in other areas.

I agree with Madelaine, £ signs shouldn't be removed we should be able to list items within stores or listings that show the £ sign

I am selling some coins on eBid and the £ sign has not been removed. There are other items also on the site using the £ which appear unaffected.

Is this a glitch rather than automatic editing? Just a thought.

I have no problem.. as I can not find a Pound key on my keyboard.

Funny that because I have $$$ & £££ & €€! and I expect to use them all.

It removed all of £ $ € when I tried in Category headings

I just did a test auction with the description title as "£1 test auction", when I do preview auction now it shows as "1 test auction", the £ sign should show both in Auction Description when put in as well as in a shop category
