Help, I'm new & just won bid on Thurs & now it's Sun. I paid with paypal that day & I sent an invoice request and I've had no response from the seller. I sent him a message from the AAL tonight. How long should I wait before I do anything else?

I'm not sure why you sent an invoice request if you already paid. Ordinarily, I would send an invoice request and wait to receive one before paying. However, I'd probably give the seller a few days to respond to your AAL message before doing anything else. If you haven't gotten a response by Tuesday or Wednesday you can try again or contact support@ebid.net.
Have you emailed him directly through his regular email provider. I believe you should have received the email address with your win notification unless I'm mistaken.

Does your seller seem to have been active on ebid? (as in, on the "activity" section on the right hand side of thier store / listing? It should show when they last logged in. )
I am in the middle of the same thing right now...i bought a 'buy now' item on Thurs, paid at that moment with Paypal, and haven't heard received any updates at all. Nothing has shown up on the AAL, and according to the seller's status, they were active this morning. Any ideas anyone?
I would send an email directly to seller. I know when I first started on ebid my internet provider for some reason blocked all emails from ebid. Never did find out why. So try contacting your seller directly and see if they answer you that way. Give them a date to answer you by and if they don't answer you, let ebid and paypal know you have had no contact. same thing for me, apart from it was friday, i havent paid yet as the seller has had a lot of negative feedbacks, i won 8 items from the seller so i have requested a combined invoice, and heard nothing apart from that they cancelled one of the items, due to no stock, but the item is still active with loads of quantity left, i am going to wait till thursday, and if i don't hear nothing i will take it that they want to cancel the sales, i have also emailed the seller personally to see if they just wasn't recieving the messages i have sent them. shame my son would of loved the items

For Buyers, it is a good policy to wait for an invoice prior to paying as a matter of course.
If you get no response, then try messaging the seller.
Still no response? then you haven't lost anything.
AND - report a non performing Seller to support. (allow a decent response time)
