A simple question ...(I hope)

Hi...
Does any of you guys know how long items can be left in the 'unsold folder' before being deleted?

Let me explain further... I want to close my shop for a spell, I need to 're-group' as it were but I know that just taking the shop off line will not stop the items from showing in auctions. Therefore I will have to 'end' all auctions and they will move into the unsold...but how long for?

Well I learned a very difficult lesson. I deleted all of mine not too long ago. There is an option to close auctions so be sure you use that one and NOT the delete. My understanding is that they are held for 60 days, but my pictures that are not in use are held for 75 days.

Hi, Just a thought.
Could you not use the holiday option? This freezes your shops and stops buyer buying (I believe) while you take a break. Not sure tho how long you can be on holiday. But if you could use this option you wouldn't have to close anything down.
Of course I may need to stand corrected!!! But just a thought, may be an easier option

...mmm...thanks guys...yes (holiday setting)...that does sound like an option...but as you say... how long allowed to be away :-) ...and if it is 60 days in 'unsold'...that should be plenty also...so thank you both for the response (and suesjools :-)
