    Question Changing Stock Quantities

Hi, any ideas why I can't change my stock quantities? If I sell an item elsewhere and try to amend the quantity on here it goes back to the original amount.

I am having to close auctions, edit and then restart them, very time consuming.

    Thanks in advance.

I had this problem myself earlier today. I was amending stock levels here, but two of my listings wouldn't accept the amendment. Others were amended, but two of them wouldn't budge!

I know it is something to do with the kind of listing (I think it was mentioned last year), I also vaguely remember that you can't put some listings down to 1.

The two listings I tried unsuccessfully to amend were both cosmetic items, I was trying to add extra quantities, not reduce them.

Hmmm.. I don't think I'm allowed to have more than one listing for an identical item, but if it doesn't let me raise the quantity for sale, what choice do I have? Hmmmm... (again)...

You cannot change a quantity from one to many or many to one.

Oh well thats that then. Thanks Astral. Any ideas why?

I think it might be best (for me) to only list single items, unless I have very large quantaties in stock. Might lose a couple of sales if they want multiples of an item but thats better than having an item out of stock.

Got it cheers. Sorry didn't realise the link gave the explanation, a bit more caffeine me thinks.
