Exclamation End auction after it has a bid on it?

Is there a way I can end an auction after it has a bid on it? I just noticed that one of my auctions is scheduled to run for 89 days when it should have only been 10 days. Dont know what happened there. Problem is that it already has a bid on it. Either that or can ebid change the auction to end after 9 days since the bid just happened today?

    thank you,
    Joy

You will need to remove the bid first: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/astral....icks.htm#a0024

Then you can close the listing.

I have to blackball my bidders? I dont want to do that because they are going to rebid. It was me who messed up the auction, not them.

You could email you bidder and explain to them what has happened and what you are going to do. They will have to rebid but I am sure that isn't a problem, is it.? I mean you can lift the blackballing immedately the problem is resolved, so that they can bid on it again.
Better than than the poor soul waiting 86 days for the auction to end. They will have got fed up or forgotten about it by them.

You have to remove their bid to close the listing. The only way to do that is to use the blackball feature. You reinstate them immediately afterwards. Nothing shows that it was ever done. Unless you tell them they will likely not even know the mechanics of how it was done.

Smile Ending Auction Early in favor of current bidder.

Is it possible to end your auction early with a bid on it in favor of the current bidder? Thanks--Betty
