Well I wasn't in a state to ask anything but they gave me a book to read about it and it it's just the usual 5 a day, potatoes, Pasta and not too much fat

Have you ever heard of Milk Thistle, Silybum marianum, not the common adriana?
You could certainly give it a try. I eat the seeds raw, they don't taste of anything much, rather bland, but I am positive that they help keep me going.

I've just got in from work and catching up - I'm stunned - I knew you were going for a scan awhile back.

Do as others have advised and find support groups and alternative means of treatment. And as Trish says - be strong, be determined, be optimistic, fight on.

Poor Buttons. What a shock for you.
Please do see if there is a group that can help and advise you. Even just talking through it helps.
But that all seems a bit ineffectual at the moment.
