When eBid first started I took ut a Gold subscription for life which offered zero insertion and zero final auction fees...is this still the case...I haven't used eBid for quite some time?

The Gold account is no more. It has been replaced by the Seller+ account.

You should be able to upgrade for a modest fee as you are listed as having a legacy Gold account.

Go to http://uk.three.ebid.net/perl/accoun...y-credit-cards and look under Change Your Subscription. You should find that you can upgrade for around 5.00 GBP. This will then give you the ability to list and sell for free forever.

They could have just upgraded all Gold members automatically - but they didn't. They must have had a reason for that. Maybe there is more in the Seller+ package than existed in the Gold package and the small charge covers for that.

Gold membership gave you 1 free store Platinum (which was later renamed Seller +) gives you 5.
