Witheld payments from Paypal

Hi, I havnt bought or sold on here for a number of years now and am considering starting again after getting really fed up of Ebay and their only concern for looking after their own profits.
Could anybody tell me, if I sell something on here and accept Paypal as payment, will Paypal withhold the payment until there has been positive feedback left as is now the case on Ebay?

dungbay/poopal rules and protection only apply to their site, no where else on the internet, but, there is no buyer protection with poopal when using their service anywhere else either.

Pa*pal is pa*pal and pa*pal will hold your funds. You can ask because they did it to us.

We don't care who tells you they won't they will, and then they will return them to the buyer, and then you can start the battle all over again.

Well they haven't withheld any payments of mine, and I have quite a lot of feedbacks to catch up with over there. Is this another myth

I don't know about non-feebay transactions, but for feebay ones I'm quite sure the possibility of withheld payments is no myth - it's too well documented. It depends on your account standing, DSRs etc and it's not you leaving feedback yer daftie, it's the buyer to show they're happy with the transaction.
