You ladies are awesome source of info and if they let me stay will do my best to help in anyway possible.

I do have a question for ya. if they send out these emails like the one below again to me does that mean they will ban me for good next time. they sent me five of these when the big list was being uploaded but thats not the reason they banned me the first time and i dont want to make a mistake. Here is what the emails said:

    Hi buggyrunner,

We have had to remove one or more of your auctions due to them breaking our duplicate rules.

If you are listing more than one of the same item then please use a Dutch Auction when listing the item.

If your items are different then each must have a different title.

That email is a relitively new one, what used to happen is that auctions used to get deleted without being told why.

If you do keep breaking rules then eBid will suspend / ban you or any user for life. Thats why you should check the rules, uploads before you upload them etc.

eBid do take you previous eBid record into account, which is not a lot of help if you just started.

I hope you have a long eBid career

it seems to me that they should just delete the items the way they got it going on now , banning a user for this when they can control it from happening just makes for bad blood or bad business. Right now the email with an explaination is the easiest and correct thing to do especailly if a person has a lifetime account.

I half agree, but when some do this repeatedly, they have to be stopped somehow, although rather than deleting auctions, there has been talk of the auctions being send to the unsold area rather than deleted from the face of the earth.

Since I joined last feb, the site has IMHO improved in a lot of areas as admin do take on board suggestions. Yes this site still has some way to go, but thats just eBids good point, they do listen & act when they can. I had my auctions deleted when I first started and was given no explantion at all until it was escalated to Mark at HQ and then I found out why things had been deleted and it was my own fault. Needless to say I learnt a lesson and never repeated the mistake
