Best place to blog?

Hi guys

Am looking at increasing internet exposure for my business and am thinking of blogging sites (wordpress?) or networking sites like myspace, anything like that. It’s gotta be free to join……some insight would be appreciated please.

1) Anyone recommend any particular site over another (and why?)

2) Anyone find it HAS made a difference to your business? (Time is a precious commodity for me right now)

I have just discovered myspace. Early days for me, so I can't say how good it is, but I believe the more places you can put a link back to ebid the better, especially if you are able to create contacts and join groups.

There is a blog available on myspace - the key of course is to get your myspace friends to subscribe to it. Don't forget if you join myspace, to link up to fellow myspace ebidders.

I use Blogger at http://www.bykimbo.blogspot.com/ (mine, obviously) but since I blog about once a year, I can't claim any expertise or suggest any results, I'm afraid. It's part of the Google empire, and is easy to use... that's about as much as I know!

I have a few blogs, and try to update them weekly or at least fortnightly. Whether they are worth the time is debateable, but if you aren't there people certainly won't see you!
