    Default Guardian readers ahoy

An ideal chance here to get the Ebid word out in a national newspaper: the Saturday Guardian money section has next week's Personal Effects question up, and it's about whether it's viable to make a living on Ebitch.

Perhaps some Ebidders might want to mention Ebitch's recent massive fee hikes, 'glitches', rule changes, payment restrictions, payment holds, FVFs, seller exodus, falling listings/shareprice/sales, in comparison to Ebid...

    I'm just sayin'...

    The email addy is personal.effects@guardian.co.uk

But.....it is still possible to make a living over there, and making the comparisons with ebid could just backfire............quite easily

Oh, I'm not suggesting to say anything that isn't true or make misleading claims - just to get the name and word out there, increase brand awareness. Probably a lot of people reading won't even be looking to make a living as such - just peeps who sell the odd item when they clear out their home, and aren't even aware of Ebid in the first place. Can't hurt!

It's here, but it's only four lines right at the bottom: they answer last week's question then set the question for next week. So all the huffing and hoo-hah and palaver re: E*** will be next week.

I think it's good just because to a lot of people, E*** is the only option they even know about - still! Doesn't hurt to let them know there are other options out there.
