The feedback record is the only place to check transactions the buyer has been involved in. This may not show all succesful bids, but it will probably cover any problems!

What would be the purpose of a 'bidding history' page? As a buyer i wouldn't be happy if there was a way everyone could check what items I had bid on ( i assume unsuccessfully as well as the wins?) in the past, isn't that my business only?

    Hi,
bluebedouin ~ think you're possibly on my wavelength.
HannaHolly & blissfulbelfry ~ I see where you're both coming from on this as Privacy is king in our house too but ...
    (ain't there Always a 'but' !)

I think a 'simile' might be the 'Statistics' facility in these here Forums, where I or anyone can view every forum you (or any one else) has posted to.

They don't invade anyone's privacy, simply supply info that tells the viewer a little about the 'person' concerned.

Over on that Other Auction site, if you think (for example only) someone is shill bidding then you can see what they have bid on before they bid on your item.

You can also see who has bid on their items.

If someone has (for example only) 'won' or 'bought' thirty or forty items say from One seller then you can check if they are perhaps part of a shill bidding ring ... but that's Only possible because That Other Auction Site allows you to view previous bids, and yes, in this case, Especially those that didn't 'win'.

Hope this explains without revealing too much ?
