Besides, any competitor who wanted to defeat this kind of system would simply use a second account for their "observer" to do all their watching.

on ebid you are only allowed 1 account

I got closer here to the ID that I really want to use but the one I registered here and the one I use on eBloat are so close anybody should be able to make the connection.
Unless they are tying user ID to an I.P. address so only one person can hold an account on each computer then there are ways for unscrupulous people to register multiple accounts. It's a sad reality, but this is the world that we live in.
It is reassuring that the good folk running eBid have given some thought in this direction and taken steps to address the issue.

Hi myself have to say that i would like to have the watchers as then it help me when it comes to doing more of my items i know that not all of the watchers buy but coming from the other side it was a good indication for me
