Looking at the forums some days you must think it's a pretty thankless task.

Thanks from me too. I've been here three years and have seen lots of great changes and a huge growth in membership, listings and sales. It's very hard ( impossible) trying to please everyone, and people will always find something to grumble about - so if the loudest voices are about 'watchers' or flashing icons - actually things must be going pretty well .

I heartily agree with the OP ...

but I somewhat resent the suggestion that minding the flashing icons is grumbling. It's serious, HH, not a matter of opinion but a medical matter. It doesn't affect me but it does affect others.

I joined a long time ago - but was seduced by the quick sales I got elsewhere.

I came back to the fold about 8 weeks ago, and I have been ASTONISHED by the way this site now runs!

I'm now dedicated to getting buyers here - after all I have a lot of spare time!
