Removing those anoying hotmail ads
For a while now hotmail have had ads that drop down and cover the top of the inbox. Very annoying. Although I am using my googlemail account for most things I still use my hotmail account for a lot of stuff and dont want to fully goto google.
So, as I use firefox, is there a way to get rid of those ads!

maybe the adblock extension would work to stop them

I'm not sure what you mean, I don't get anything covering my hotmail inbox, unless I hover over the add with my mouse, then yes they enlarge, and that's annoying.
But I don't know if you can stop them showing? ?

Silly me I thought I had adblock installed on this machine. Seems I didnt. The rig I am currently useing is usually the missus' rig but I am useing it because since we had some work done on the house I have needed to clean out my main PC because of all the dust and have not done it yet!
