New Shipping Calculator..Attn: GAZZA Please!

Gazza, I've just been playing around with the new shipping calculator on a few of my existing listings to get a better feel for it, and I see a major problem when it comes to those of us who ship Media Mail. Here's a screenshot of what I'm referring to:

Where's the option for Media Mail???? As it is currently configured I will be unable to use the new shipping calculator as there is no option for the way I ship almost 80% of the time. Please advise as soon as possible, and thank you!

Hi Mary,
You'll find the Media Mail option in the flat rate section.

Choose Regular Package or Large Package from the dropdown and you will have the option of Media Mail.

We'll get it added to Large Envelope also.

I found the media mail option. My question is, will the buyer then just enter their zip code at auction end and get the correct postage?

Sorry can't help you, but if you already have some listings running with it on, use the export function on them.
The file will be in the same format as the bulk uploader so you should be able to pick the code up from there.

There is no media mail from the US to any International Country any longer all books ect go 1st class international mail...So if you live in the US and are willing to ship Internationally sending a book is really costly so is better to let International buyers know that on the listing..JMO

try going to usps.com, where you can get free flat rate shipping envelopes and boxes...thats right...free.

I sell sports cards, and it is horrible no matter how you ship internationally...sending a $1.25 card in a priority mail flat rate envelope is $9.95...
I wont send anything 1st class international anymore....too many lost shipments but never one via priority.
Flat rate boxes would be much better for you..especially considering traceability etc.

When can we expect the Media Mail option for large envelopes? This would be extremely helpful to those of us who ship that way... I realize it can still be done manually but that's extremely time consuming to go back and forth to the USPS site to calculate each listing.
