Thread: Is it legal to put up your own billboards outside your house?

    There must be differences from authority to authority, when I had my takeaway I had a big row with my local authority as they said I couldnt put my A frame outside on the pavement but it was ok to have it anywhere on any of my own property, In the end I put a roof rack on my car and stuck it on there they couldnt do a thing and one my property, I also think it makes a difference whether its a fixed structure or moveable.
    I know the ones that spin are banned now which is a shame I used to enjoy watching people get twisted up in those (insert devil smiley here)

    I still have planning permision for a "swinging sign" in my garden
    ......my house used to be a guest house.....and the previous owners had to have pp for the sign......no choice

    (scuttles off to look for a sign writer

    I had a sign once, thought it was stigmata but realised it was from typing too many complaints to pee8ay
