Thread: PROMOTING EbID

  1. #1

    Default PROMOTING EbID

Hi - I think by far the best advertising for eBid at the moment has to be eBay forums! So many unhappy sellers, many of whom have been unfairly suspended for 1 or 2 negs or neutrals, in many cases given quite undeservedly by buyers.

I still have 100% 700 feedback, so I can't have been too bad! Because of the current rules am now reluctant to sell....

Lots of people have done it, but it can be regarded as rather childish - misbehaving in class until the teacher loses her temper?

However, sending emails to those who are unhappy telling them about ebid (you may have to put spaces into that word to get the message past the dark side filters), will not get you banned and works pretty well.

What I meant to say was that it's the unhappy ebay sellers themselves saying that they have moved to another site, and advising others to do the same.
I will try selling here when I've worked out how to!

    Thumbs up

I think it is a great idea. We need to attract more buyers from the "Big Brother eB*y" to eBid.

    Madelaine.

I dont think its childish letting disgruntled greedbay sellers know that there is another alternative.

IMO A number of sellers are already trying this the Ebid site out due to posters promoting Ebid on the darkside.

A couple more have stated on the threads today that they intend to give Ebid a go.
