Two concerns - dates.

I stupidly failed to check the date on a listing, and bought something.

After a several 'messages' and emails to the Seller, they replied today to tell me they couldn't get into eBid any more, and so they'd left.

Seems I missed the 2007 date on their listings (run until sold strikes again...)

So, now I have to read the tiny date on every item I'm interested in - hardly a pleasant shopping experience, but I don't want to waste my time on absent sellers again.

Oh, and then, today someone has bid on one of my DVDs, but they literally only signed up minutes before placing a bid. I don't think it's likely that The Phantom Menace was tempting enough to make them sign up lol - so will I soon find that it's a Non-paying Bidder I wonder? Time will tell.

Someone signed up at 4 am (an American) today, purchased something of me before 5 am.
I sent invoice at 8 and had received payment by 8.30.
They may well have signed up because they wanted to buy the item from you.
Newbies have to start somewhere.

I think you will find that people have to sign up to be able to bid!

The more that sign up and buy the more will return.... I look like a newbie on here but (I try not to mention the dark side now cos I feel more of an eBidder) over there I was a long-standing pillar of their community..with over 1000 100% feedback.
So here for a while it's as well to accept buyer will probably be newbies too....

I too thoroughly welcome paying newbies to buy anything from my listings .

I dont mind newbies buying from me either... the strange thing is tho. dispite my items being VERY cheap (from 75p inc P+P he said getting a quick plug in ) it is mainly people with 20+ feedbacks that buy from me, is there something about me that scares newbies away
