Thread: Plughole rules

  1. #1

    Default Plughole rules

Hi everyone, i have had a look but i cannot seem to find any info on this.
    Are there any plughole rules?
Do we have to wait until it falls off the page before another plug is added or do we have to wait 24 hours?.
Are you meant to bump your own plug or keep writing new ones?.
I hope somebody can help me.
    Ann

    Hi avon
    These are the rules

Forum Rules - Please follow these.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Simple rules of posting.

    - No swearing in whatever language or whatever spelling.

    - No pimping (advertising own auctions) allowed, apart from a single pimping thread per person within the Plug Your Auctions forum.
    - No posting of personal data, names, addresses or potentially slanderous accusations or allegations against named individuals.

    - Signature links can be made to sites outside eBid as long as the linked site is not e-commerce enabled.

    - Users must use only a single username on the forums. Multiple forum identities aren't allowed.

    - Blatant defamatory comments aimed at undermining eBid as a business and/or promoting competitor sites.

An infraction point is given each time anyone breaks these rules.

First Ban (1 point) is 2 Days
Second Ban (2 points) is 7 Days
Third Ban (3 points) is Permanent.

Please use the "Report" button when you feel it is necessary and all we ask is that everyone behaves in an adult manner.

(copied from the Announcement at the top of the plug section )

    hi
the main rule is only one plug thread
you can add to it or simply let it drop off the page but be nice to others who use it and try not to hog the top spot for days on end

Thank you both for the answers, still finding my way around.
Will probably still be saying that next year.
I have made two separate plugs so far is there a way of deleting one?

Once logged in to the forums, click on the thread you want to delete and then along the top on the blue band, 'Thread Tools' - one of those says delete.

You can keep adding to your thread or you can DELETE it and start another one. You should NOT 'just let it drop off the first page' and start a new one.
