Thread: Seller is not sending payment instructions

    Question Seller is not sending payment instructions

    I have bought an item from a seller 3 days ago. the seller sent me an invoice & asked me to supply him with my email address so he can send me a google checkout invoice.
    I have done that the same day & still waiting for a reply from him.
    When i click on pay with google checkout which is the only payment option listed, i get the fellowing error
    (Error 401: 401 Unauthorized Bad username and/or password for API Access.)
    I want to know how can resolve this issue! how can i report this seller to ebid? how can i make sure this does not effect me as a buyer or a seller in the future.
    please do offer all information that can help in this case\

    I don't know; it sounds like the seller is experiencing technical difficulties, and one would hope that they can get it fixed and look after you.

    As the Seller needs to act, I'm unsure how eBid could help you, as it is the seller who is at fault.

    Have the two of you been discussing the delay through eBid messages? What does the seller say about this problem?

    I wonder if the Seller is a commited seller, or if they are just playing around? Do they have good feedback? Do they have a lot of recent listings, or just a load of 'run until sold' rubbish?

    This sounds to me that the seller has not integrated google correctly, If you report the seller to eBid support@ebid.net I don't think they will be able to do anything straight away, I would ask the seller to check hi/her settings in google. Then contact you when it is sorted.

    This sounds as a fault / bug within the sellers settings, and only they will be able to sort it.

    thanks for the info Sarah, Xaos
    The seller is new & i think he/she didn't set the google account settings right. I did contact him/her through after the auction section, but no reply. I'm a professional seller as well but i don't like seller make buyers wait for a long time to finish a transaction. people like him make us bad & i wish that ebid had solid rules about things like this.
