    Default Problems Opening a Store

Before you read further please bear in mind you are dealing with an idiot with the attention span of a gnat when it comes to pc techie blurb:-

I tried to open a store - so designed a logo and then attempted to upload it. All that happens when I press the upload button is that it takes me back to the page that tells me I am entitled to open threee stores ...?

I did then try to by-pass that bit and fill in the rest, but that tells me I can only use a-z or blurb, whatever in my store title but since I am only using that then I can't see what the problem is there either.

Plus I'm on dial-up - takes me ages to do anything anyways!

Check out this threads, hopefully they will help. It could also be that the site is still not right after yesterdays DoS attack.

Thanks, Wiz - I didn't know the site had a Dos attack yesterday, in fact I don't know what one is - but the thought that it actually may not be my fault is quite reassuring ;-)

This is the post Gazza put up yesterday about the slowness of the site and the My eBid problems we have all been having. I was not sure what it meant either.
    Found the answer here.

Our apologies for this but at the best of times these are nye on impossible to handle when carried out with enough venom as todays ones are.

We are attemting to find the culprits behind the attacks.

Bah, humbug - I'm still having the same problem this morning.
It's the uploading a logo that I still can't get past. Had a look at Gothcinas old thread and I can't see what I'm doing wrong.

Maybe it's a problem with my logo - maybe I haven't done that right?

I think I'd better just upload the stuff as standard BIN - annoying though.

When you made your logo did you save it to your computer? If so then you should be able to upload it from there. Also make sure the logo is the proper size.

I did, youmeus, but it just wasn't working, so I did another one yesterday and I'm up and running now - well, fumbling with the rest of it anyway;-)
