Promoting ebid!

Hi all, i just joined yesterday! I just wanted to now what i could do to help promote this site? Im tired of another certain greedy site and would like to do anything i can to help get this auction site to number one. I also wondered if ebid would have any televised adverts placed soon? I believe advertisement is the key. Sellers have been actively looking for another non greedy site but buyers have no need. If we can attract a wide range of sellers (which i believe will be easier to gain) to offer customers what they want at the best prices i truely hope this site can get to number one.

the site is not big enough for tv adverts but it is on the up with buyers / sellers / listings / sales

Hi, thanks for the reply when you say ebid's not big enough for tv adverts do you mean its not large enough to afford the cost of tv adverts? If so i think all sellers should start a kitty towards this. As a really believe this would be a great help

You need to spend some time on forums and social networking groups dropping ebid.net into the discussions and actively pushing the positives of ebid.net.

My 'pet' at the moment is Flickr

Join Flickr, then get involved in, first of all the groups dedicated to ebid.net. Also upload images of the things you sell and tag (keyword) them with relevant keyords ALSO BE SURE TO TAG WITH FOLLOWING

you will also need to tag with other non-related but relevant keywords like:

ebay
paypal
moneybooers
PPpay

when you have uploaded some images of the stuff you sell and joined some groups relelvant to the stuff you sell you can also add your images to that groups 'pool' - if you have a particularly interesting image or item, people will ask questions and naturally you will tell them where it is available
