Another Ebay Refugee

Hi all,
After many months of toying with finding an alternative to Ebay, obviously through being sick and tired of their increasingly unacceptable rules Etc., (ie the same reasons you've all defected) I've decided to move over to Ebid. Obviously I'll need time to wean my customers over as well but hope soon to be able to kiss Ebay goodbye completely within a month or so.
I've been in and out the Forum a few times picking up info and tips so thanks to all of you for that, and I'll look forward to being part of what looks like a great community.

Salehoo who predominantly plug Ebay,are now suggesting that Ebid is a good alternative,and advising people to take a look.Just been on their forums

Hello everyone! I am dlkramer721 and I am also an EBay Refugee!!! I am a stay at home mom trying to earn extra $ to help defry the cost of my son's therapy sessions.
I am tired of being treated poorly by EBay...I have jumped overboard as so many others have.
I have been watching several auction sites and this one looks the best. Seems nice and friendly....I am hoping for a long standing on Ebid!
Wish we could somehow transfer over our feedback and ratings! On "the other" site i have a 1501 sales and a 99.8% rating. Its going to be hard to start at zero again...
How are the sales here?
I will start promoting the site as much as i can to drive buyers to it!

dlkramer721, welcome to the site. Yes, it is very friendly and there are lots of people around to help or just chat - make full use of the forums.

Sales - more items seem to sell on BIN so most sellers add that feature as an option on their listings. Search these boards and check out the rules for getting your listings set up so that they are featured on google.
