I'm hoping they'll let us do the competition as well as it's a bit more exciting and could get mentions in the press if there are some good entries. Press release/news letter developments are good ideas, but it's the sort of thing which I think they should be doing anyway and let us do something exciting like the competition for the challenge.

    I've had a response from G & M. They say
" Thank you for the information and the fantastic effort the community has gone to to put this together. We will review in the coming days"

Just popping in for a quick catch-up and glad to see you got a quick response I'm also glad that awful watch has gone from the front page of the site!! I prefer the free tee shirt any day, as watches (sorry 'nosty, shut your eyes and don't read this next bit) remind me of dodgy deals and the guys you see in Blackpool

I am very disapointed at the results of this as The Winning idea's are something that Should be done automatically! Oh well the majority Wins! Ill live with it just get frustrated by the seemingly lack of advancement in Advertiseing the site! PR should be part of the Business plan anyway!

I too am still really interested in the competition idea as competitions can attract thousands and tens of thousands of entries and create BUZZ. However, as they can be difficult to organize, couldn't some of the £2000 be used to pay a handling house to sort out entries and to organize the competition as a whole?

Hi all. As this challenge is closed, proposals submitted etc.. I'll close the thread so newbies don't get confused and any great new ideas don't get overlooked.
