Well it deffo took less than 24hrs to get them up! Anyway it seems most of my trial 27 items are now searchable on Google Products. Great! Now I have one issue with how they have been listed. I did the spreadsheet like jimbo750 said, with the first row being 6 columns and the top row being: Link, Description, Title, Image_Link, Condition, Price (all in seperate columns of course). But Google Base seem to be ignoring my description column. Instead the description on google products is taken from the ebid listing. This dosnt work as well as I had wanted.
I dont know why this has happened but in my google base account it says I have a couple of error with the upload:
Your file appears to be missing a header row.
and
We did not understand the header (first) row of your file. Please make sure that you are using valid attribute names.
Clicking on the help link gives no useful info. But as most of the items are searchable I dont really care about the error messages. However I would prefer the description to be the one I uploaded rather than what it is. What do you think I have missed?
Thanks!
Edit: I wanted to play about with the items I listed. Try a few edits and see what happens etc but although I have logged out and made sure to log into the correct google account my items are no longer listed. Well in my account it says there are no active or inactive items. However if I do a search for my items in google products I can still see most of my items. Strange. A bug do you think?
