cut and paste capabilities

Hello everyone. Just thought I would share a slight problem that I discovered. First I am using FireFox as my browser and when I went to copy and paste my feed back from ebay that I have without some adjustments to this file: C:\documents and settings\<windows login> \application data\mozilla\firefox\profiles that I would be able to cut and paste here on Ebid using FireFox. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Your post isn't particularly clear.
Are you saying that you were
A: Completely unable to cut & paste anything at all
B: Able to cut but not paste
C: Able to cut & paste but the result was not what you expected
or
D: Something else?

What I think the problem was the feedback that I got from Ebay that I wanted to post here and was unable to do so. I can copy and paste links as I just did in another forum so I sent it upstairs to get a hand with.Thanks for your response.

I have found when starting new auctions or editing current auctions here on ebid that cut copy and paste do not work with firefox i always have to use internet explorer but they do work on ebay.

When you want to paste something into a new listing using firefox have you tried going to your edit menu and click paste. That is what I do - it is not as convenient as using the right click mouse button but works well for me.

I am using Firefox and Cut, Copy and Paste have worked every time for me. Have not encountered a problem as yet. What version of Firefox are you running?

I find that firefox will not always copy and paste, in some programs it does not support it
If you want to copy something hightlight the words and press Ctrl and C at the same time

If you want to paste something, put your cursor where you want it to paste and press Ctrl and V at the same time.

That should work

Also if you want to cut something highlight the words and press Ctrl and X together. Then paste as above.
