I have been watching ebid's growth on Powersellers Unite website and thought I'd post some charts. Ebid is growing!

When I joined a year ago the listing numbers were between 100,000 and 200,000 so it's been going up for a while.

We need more entries in the Cyberdosh challenge so we can try to estimate how successful sellers are. Listings are fine, but how can we calculate percentage of items sold without having access to the information. Join the Cyberdosh challenge each month and find out if your eBid sales average is growing in accordance with the number of listings.

I would guess that only the seller would have that information. So off my head the only way I can think of is to have a small form or email template that the ones particpating would send you say by the 5th of the month following the sales. Something like this

Month:_________________
New Listings:___________
Items Sold:_____________ (this would items sold no matter when the were listed)

Needless to say this would have to be on the honor system and it would have to be decided if SOLD meant funds collected.

Any other ideas?

Hiya Partsandthings, we already have the chart running and have a page of listings showing everyone who participates. We just need more sellers to join us, so the stats can give a better, overall picture of what's happening. In general, monthly sales are increasing and our top sellers are gaining positive feedback on between 45 & 60 sales per month. Excellent news for newcomers as it shows that a little bit of free promotion can go a long way
