Thread: Having more than 1 item in stock in a a listing

Red face Having more than 1 item in stock in a a listing

I want to have in stock more than 1 item, so that buyers can buy more than 1 at once, they can buy multiples.
I am unsure if when it asks
quantity, it means how many is the buyer getting.
Or if it means how many do you have in stock.

Please see my attachment for how I listed my item, but it seems doing how I did it, once someone has purchased 1, the listing ends, and it relists.

Hi, you're correct, the first box is the quantity of this item you have for sale and once it sells, then it becomes a repost with the revised quantity available.

    Thank you for your reply,
so if I put 10 in quantity, a customer doesn't expect 10 of them, they buy 1, and the counter goes down to 9?

Correct, the initial listing shows the quantity available and then your customer chooses the quantity they want
