Paypal is the only payment method which is integrated into eBid. However, eBid does not forbid any payment method so you can use any other method you like. You will have to raise your own invoice and handle any procedures yourself.
I offer Bank Transfer but have not had anyone take advantage of it. I also used to offer Skrill until their system became totally impractible but ony ever had a few takers.
Many buyers are used to and happy with Paypal
From the buyers point of view, offering PayPal, gives them security of knowing that if they are not happy with thier purchase, they can open a case against the seller, but they have no recourse if they have paid by bank transfer, unless they have purchased from the seller many times before, they feel happy doing so using bank transfer
I too offer direct bank transfer.

I'm well aware of the disadvantage of bank transfer from the buyers point of view. I only offer it as an option. It seems to be slightly more favoured by European buyers. The only enquiries I have had about bank transfer has been from Europe although none actually completed the sale using this method.
This question was at the back of my mind on a different thread about paypal. Don't know if I mentioned that I offer the option of paying by Cheque, no-one has ever taken me up on the offer.
All the while buyers are happy to pay with Paypal, I'm happy to accept it as paypal seems to be able to process their payment from whatever source it comes from.
