Google Shopping Uploads

Google Shopping have decided to stop using their XML format of uploading so we are having to place new uploads on hold over this weekend to allow us to update our systems to their JSON format.

Any new eBid listings from now until the beginning of next week will still be uploaded as soon as the new system boots up.

Apologies for the inconvenience, don't forget uploads still remain free to our SELLER+ account holders!

Thanks for letting us know Gazza and thanks for still sending free of charge, not often you get something free these days ! eBid is still the best value for money in my opinion.

Hello. May I ask a related question, or could you please direct me to another forum sub-category if not? I am listing on here again after a 5-6 year absence,and I cannot see any of my listings on Google. I read in another thread that lacking a bar code (all of my items are 50 years old), I should type in 'exempt', which I did to several, but I still get no results when trying to see if they exist on Google. A few of the items come up where I had them on ebay, but not here on eBid. Another suggestion was to display them on Facebook, but I only have 100 friends, and none of them do anything with vintage electronics. I don't have Twitter or Chat or anything else (I'm old and not computer savvy). I tried typing 'google search' in the forum blank bar, but it didn't show anything. Many thanks for any suggestions, Dan of dadsgoodies.

If the titles of the items you have listed on Ebay are identical to those listed on eBid, only theEBAY ones will be included on Google because Google will not accept duplicate items.

I'm sorry but that link takes me to a page about google changing their format (which means nothing at all to me).

It also says that Seller+ members still get uploads for free. Nothing about Platinum listings.

My question remains as I understood that the 5p Platinum listing fee included the upload to GS.

Is that still correct?
