Have you tried USPS Small Flat Rate Boxes? Of course, you would have to ship PM. Of course,I never ship anything by media mail, even if it qualifies, because it's too slow.

I've been selling books on another site since about 2002 and have never used a box. Hardback books get wrapped in brown paper and paperbacks get put in a manila envelope (cut down to size). I've never had a single complaint about my packaging and it's lighter weight than a box - which is a good thing since they take FVF from sales price + their "set" shipping cost per book.

I always ship media rate unless the buyer pays extra for expedited shipping and use PP for my shipping labels, as they give free tracking.
