I had the operation on Tuesday took 3 hrs went ok apart from my blood pressure dropping for a few days but avoided having a blood transfusion by the skin of my teeth.
Not in any pain but got another UTI and a bug so the been feeling faint and vomiting seem to have improved a lot today just have to wait now for the other hip operation

Sorry to hear this. Keeping in good shape is important for those who want good health in their later years. Are you overweight by any chance? My advice to you is eat healthy and get exercise so you can keep your weight down. Being overweight can put undue stress on your hips and other joints.
