I think the bulk edit route may be the way to go

Wouldn't it be easier not to let them close, you can do this by resetting the repost count to 10 with a single Bulk Edit before they are due to close? Its seems an awful lot of work letting them close then manually relisting them.

True, but I dont have many and it gives me the chance to look at them and see if I want to alter anything.

A few months ago I noticed that one of my items was listed 4 times which is why I started being meticulous about re listing and deleting them but that hasn't stopped the odd double from creeping in.

I only have one lot of these to sell - the duplicate listings check didn't pick them up (which it should have done had I listed them both?)

And I'm having to eat humble pie for a buyer again

And, viewing a list of items sorted by title has revealed 136966276 & 136994364 (I've deleted one now)

humble pie again... This is not a recent listing - I started it way back in 2013. Now, I know some patterns take a while to sell but my filing system is very straightforward - numerical order - and I've checked the whole box in case it is out of order.

I suspect that this is a historic problem but it is still causing me grief!

A complete stock check would take a week!

I realise that no-one believes me but, now forced into a 100% check of my listings and definitely to deleting a great many items and donating them to charity shops... here we go - first search for items I've decided to remove produces 137089812 & 137095193.

Until I started bulk editing so nothing closes, I always relisted all & deleted all from unsold listings. So how did this happen?

The odd thing is (if I am reading the information correctly) that the system thinks that the two lisings were running for exactly the same period of time.

But it also states that they were started on different days at different times.

There are many things wrong with eBid & seems like management doesn't care anymore.

I think this is a hangover problem but the software which does not allow identical listing titles should have prevented these odd situations and that is why I'm absolutely sure I didn't list them.
