Thread: Listings being closed when they shouldn't

  1. #1

Default Listings being closed when they shouldn't

    This item http://uk.ebid.net/perl/account.cgi?...account-review

It had a quantity of 2, 1 sold to a new buyer for which they paid for

However the listing was closed by eBid rather than carrying on with 1 left available

I have checked to see if it was due to end, and it wasn't, it had 9 re-post left.
Another fault with the auction is in the auction duration, the times can be seen below. The sale of the single item was 19:01.51 (GMT)
    Monday 16 Feb 2015 14:36.24 (GMT) > 3 days 0 hours 30 mins > Thursday 19 Feb 2015 15:06.24 (GMT)
This is also a copy of the emails that I got relating to the sale
Closed (Listed+) Auction - Amefa Deer 3 Piece Yummy Kids Cutlery Set 18/ 0 Stainless Steel 25 Year Guarantee [137091845]

SELLER account type holders can accept immediate payment via PPPay.com (if you selected this in your payment options), otherwise should contact the buyer to arrange payment.

If you look at the "Listing Lifetime" on the closed listing it still shows it as open, even though it's closed!!! I wonder what will happen on 19 Feb at 15:06 when its due to relist. Might be worth raising a ticket in case that bit of information is lost.

OK, I think we've found the problem. It is a quite strange one that requires quite a few occurrences to happen within a set amount of time.

We've uploaded the changes to the live servers already so we shouldn't be seeing this one pop its head up again in the future.

Thanks for the help on this, especially the detailed description in the first post..
