What can I say? You guys are awesome!

Billy took a turn for the worse late evening on Saturday...bless him....he struggled to stay up until midnight to make sure he was about for my birthday then I sent him off to bed...off his face with nerve pain pills and morphine.

I got up several times during the wee small hours to dope him up again and keep him in hot coffee in case he woke up while I snoozed then got up to cook dinner around 9pm sunday so actually missed most of the day.

Not having a major moan....this is our life now for the duration as there is no magic cure for the complications from the amputation nor the COPD and the PTSD that is a result of his active service in Northern Ireland in the 80's.

Your birthday wishes really cheered me up (I actually cried)......thanks so much...eBidders old and new...you have no idea how much those messages mean to me
