enormous photos

I'm finding that eBid accepts my photos, but that when they appear in listings, they are waaaaay oversized, and create significant lag as well. Here's an example:

I went in as seller, and then I went in through the store as if I were a buyer -- same thing. Ginormous. Is there some control over sizing photos?

Had a look at one of your images.

The actual size is 3,488px × 5,084px

If I remember correctly the size eBid prefers is 800 x 800

I use Adobe Photoshop to create my images to match this size but any picture editing software will do it.

It does resize them on upload to My Gallery. I suspect (can't check at the moment) that the images are linked to an external source. eBid should still constrain the image size on listings though.

I uploaded the images with the eBid group uploader. Should I have simply pointed them to an online url instead? Like someone said, I thought eBid did this automatically.
