Most fruits like strawberries are now available to buy all year long so why are cherries still only available here for such a small season

My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else
Cherries have a very short growing season and can grow in most temperate latitudes. Peak seasons:
Southern Europe - June
North America - June
UK - mid-July.
In the south of British Columbia (Canada) - July to mid-August
Australia and New Zealand - late December
What would we do without google lol!
.
also strawberries etc can be grown in greenhouses. Dont think you could get a cherry tree in a greenhouse
