i always fancied some goose but OH used to have 8 pet geese so wouldnt eat any. I didnt do much cooking. The venison was ready cooked and just needed so heating in the microwave and the garlic bread took 10 minutes in the oven. that was the extent of it. I dont cook often as i get too anxious and stressed so end up getting it all wrong. For solstice we had a ham but again it just needed heating through and dd did the frozen roasties and parsnips so not much work at all this year. Going to sil's for new years dinner with OH's family so again no cooking.
Used to do it all when the kids were wee but dont think i ever managed to pull it all off properly something was always burnt, undercooked or completely forgotten.
