Well it's the correct term for postcard collecting.
It's called 'knowing one's subject'and most dealers are, I am sure, aware of the term. All the ones whom I have met, have been.

yes I know it's the correct name but you will be amazed how many "lump" postcard collecting into Cartophilic, which of cause is the correct name for collecting of Cigarette, Liebig and Trade cards, but many think that it collecting any form of cards including postcards
