I have been on ebid for 1 months and 10 days still not selling anything. I have put 50% off on my listings with free shipping for US buyer and still nothing happen. Most of my listings are of high end collection personal and consignment, feel free to check them out. Gorgeous Genuine crocodile skin handbags, genuine pearls from italy, Gucci watches, 18 karat gold ring, genuine crocodile wallet, genuine fur coat, black diamonds, charles jourdan shoes, sunglasses, gorgeous vintage jewelries, perfumes givenchy, chanel and collection lots, whitting and davis vintage mesh bags and more.
I was just wondering there probably no buyers involved except all are sellers. I just hope I was wrong. Christmas is coming and I am hopeful and pray so the Lord will bring lots of buyers to ebid.

For your designer items you should have more success when you have built up more feedback and have been established longer as many people are more reluctant to buy that type of item without seeing a track record and appropriate feedback. These items will sell on eBid. Today I have sold a Guy Laroche Cashmere scarf and John Laing Cashmere pullover, both at a good price and both to new buyers so the buyers for good quality designer items are out there and will find the items on eBid and will buy them.

I would say is a little too early for you to see any sales.I know by experience that took a few months for us to see any results.My advice,do not get frustrated.Keep listing and most of all try to get as much advice and suggestions from this forum.You will eventually see some results.

You have 3 feedbacks since 18th October, and going off the fact that 90% of my buyers do not bother to leave feedback could have made more sales than that, so a little disingenuous with 'not selling anything',.....

If you look again at the 3 feedbacks they are actually from sellers who have sold low value items to Shoparoundtheglobe .

Yes it would help if all ebid members tried to buy as much as we can from each other.

Julie - I agree totally with your perspective to 'cheaper' selling on eBid on the other thread.

Can't agree with these sentiments. If someone here has something I want then I will buy from them, but would not deliberately look around for something to buy just to boost eBid's kudos.

This IMHO ( and don't all shoot me down in flames) is one of the problems on here. Yes, you can sell, is the answer to those who are struggling; if they took the trouble to look at a lot of the feedback, they would see that a large proportion of SOME sellers feedback is from forum members.

eBid needs to get out there to attract NEW sellers/buyers - no point in being insular.
