just noticed someone has pinned an item on the handmade board that is not an ebid item but from a rival auction site.
I hope this is an error and not deliberate

Please send the links of any pins that link to other sites to me by PM via the forum and we will investigate.

I'm not a member of pinterest (or twitter/twofacedbook).
Looking at pinterest today though,I noticed one of my listings in the Beatles section.(poster with Pete Best on drums)Someone other than me has placed it there (not complaining about that at all) but it links back to a closed listing.Who's responsible for updating these "pins"?
The item's been re-listed so it could link back to that one.

Unfortunatly, it would be impossable to check each pin to see if they are still active listings as there is on average 150 pins a day to the boards, however, if an pin links to a closed auction, the user is invited to view the sellers other listings - "Listing Ended : This listing from bluebedouin [+96] ended on Sun 07 Jul 2013 11:51:25 (BST). If you were involved in this then you can click here to login and view it within My eBid. To see more items from this seller click here. "

the best idea would be to keep pinning new listings as often as you can so fresh pins near the top always point to live listings.
    Regards
    Dean

Are these pins deletable by the "pinner"?I'm sure the listing was active when it was first pinned.

If they're not deletable you could end up with hundreds of duplicates!

    Anyone wanting to pin:-

"All you have to do now is visit your 'my social networks; section in my ebid and enter your username to get an invite".

Pins are deletable by the person who pinned
