sorry i must of missed all this .

could some give the basic low down on the buddy points , ihave 5. odd but have no idea if its good or bad or how to get more , or less even if thats what you need to do lol .

sorry i take no notice of these sorts of things and usually miss out .

You get buddy points for buying items and selling items on eBid and also for referrals to eBid. From the Help section:

You can use your buddy points to bid on buddy auctions (on the home page bottom are some buddy auctions, click on the more link to view them all). I've used my buddy points to get eBid T shirts for the whole family as well as a few hats.

As has been said you can use them to bid on the 'Buddy Auctions'. You will definitely get something with 5 points. But it is up to you whether you use them on things like t-shirts, hats and the like or bide your time and save them for the big items. I tend to save mine and so far have got a camcorder (50 points) and last week a kindle (55 points). I still have 17.6 points and hope to build this up to the 50+ so that I can have a chance of getting another big item.

One tip for boosting your points is to put a link into your listings with your 'Buddy Link'. That way new buyers might use that link and you get a point if they join as a Buyer, a further 2 if they upgrade to Seller, and a further 5 if they upgrade to Seller+. Last month I earned 6 points for people using my link and in the past one has upgraded to Seller, still waiting for an upgrade to Seller+, but I hope that eventually somebody will.

Well done aep2008123, keep accumulating those buddy points.
A friend of mine , here on eBid, won a super camera, really top class stuff, amazing photo's.
I have spent a few of mine on the eBid tape, which is smashing, good quality stuff, I use it for ALL sales I send out.
I would dearly like to be able to win one of those cameras if they come up again, just need to get more points!
(Sadly, no-one ever seems to join up with my buddy link, sob!)

Is the actual buddy point system working? I've not received any for quite a while from new ebidders joining up, I promote the site on other forums and websites.
