Updates & im happy,
Sold to me as 1957 bike was actually manufactured in 1951
Had to get the tax changed so its now Historic, I now have Historic tax & nolonger have to pay for it for this bike ever again
MOT yes it failed MOT on lights, but considering the bike is old and the bike NEVER came with a battery or electric start ect. I took my bike to a proper MOT station who knows about classic bikes & she passed with flying colours.
But this said I no longer HAVE to get an MOT because she is exempt from it, my insurance company said its fine, once MOT is out of date if I keep an eye on the bike then no MOT wont fault my insurance or a claim, but me being me im going to make sure the bike is MOTd every 2 years, I wont be riding it much so not alot will need doing to it.
Just waiting vor V5c to come back, they refused to update the colour which is Green, as BSA never told DVLA from the start the colour of the bike, daft really but im happy
