Thread: So much for Google Product Search (at least for U.S.A. results)

    Default So much for Google Product Search (at least for U.S.A. results)

    This morning's email from Google:

    Probably those that have been seeing results from google product search in USA sales will see those sales dry up now, unless eBid (very unlikely) is buying paid product placement..

    I'd recommend Bing results to anyone - Ive discovered that I get much better results for what I am looking for from there anyhow.

    eBid have said that our items will still be seen on Google Products when the changes come in.

    Google over rate their Google Products. (its had about 10 names)
    There are already several large shopping comparison sites that merchants pay to be on.

    No they don't....... it provides an excellent exposure level that with the changes will get even better.

    I wouldn't recommend bing to anyone

    It is less than worthless

    It is something to steer clear of

    Yes, I'd like Bing to do well.
    But it's search results are not where as good as Google's yet.

    They have to offer something that Google does not.
