    OP- really, well that doesnt suprise me - here in the UK its 100 free listings a month on fleabay, if starting at under 99p, which works for things you know will have a bidding war on them, but is pointless for everything else. Hopefully indeed that will get people over here

    Only trouble is, feebay police their forums with all the efficiency of the Gestapo. Any mention of other auctions sites gets the posting removed. If you think Iran is bad when it comes to free speach, you haven't seen anything until you visit fleebay's forums.

    By all means use the darkside's forums to stick the knife in, but on no account make mention of any other site.

    Ebay test things out in different markets, and get away with what they can.

    Eg hardly any free listings in Australia a rich market with not much opposition.

    Now cutting back in Italy, perhaps there is not so much opposition in Italy ?
