Afghanistan is not worth a single British life - Our government failed to learn the lessons of history.

I hate the fact that I am praying for my friends and my friends' children as they are deployed in turn.

Tony Blair should only have been allowed to deploy our troops to Iraq, let alone Afghanistan, if his sons went too.

Its so sad, more men who were, sons, fathers, brother lost too soon, I can only imagine the the deep feeling of loss for those they leave behind.

Over 900 US troops have also been lost helping to keep Karzai in power, a man who after reading about him and his close circle, I may not want to put money into his bank.

I doubt the whole story has been told about the Canadian reports on high ranking police officers and other afghan officals and the terrible abuse of young boys, I have no idea if some things are made less of a crime if you give them a name like Bacha bazi boys. Anyhow I am sure most of you this kind of stuff will wash right over ya like a flapping tesco bag on a blustery day, for me its disturbing and reads like fiction from a twisted mind.
