It fooled me fro a while
I read the whole thing then fond out it was old !

I like ebid just like it is layout wise.
The way the forum and the auction site are integrated is great.

We just need soem major feature upgrades to attract some mre sellers.
    Eg
    The API
    A Bids Column
    A watchers column
    A Make an offer feature

And simply the fee structure and make the registration more foolproof
And make sellers log in in two weeks

Yes, I believe if you made the site more like Ebay, you would definately have more buyers. It would be much easier as a seller, as well.
It would be nice to run a search on easily on completed items to see how many items sold and what they sold for.

This information is critical in pricing new items to list, to know the current market value that someone is willing to pay.

Also you need a category for Electronics, then a sub category for Vintage Radio's, Ham Radio's, Parts, ect.

You need to advertise. I had never heard of EBid until someone told me about it. I know there are buyers and sellers tired of Ebay.

Step up and place some advertising, better yet for all of us still hanging on by a thread at Ebay, send every person you sell to

email with the link to Ebid, tell them the great buys at Ebid. The more exposure that we do as sellers, the better this site will be.

You can also run a report on Paypal for everything you have sold in the last year, it will provide you with the email addresses of all your

clients, to contact to direct to Ebid, remember give them the entire web address because many will go to Ebid. com, that will not take you to the right place.

You can already do that. I don't find it particularly useful for that purpose. I prefer to use valuation sites, Google, and (wash out my mouth) even eBay.

It may give you the 'market price' but it cannot tell you what someone is willing to pay for your item on that day.

If they don't already exist (I can't be bother to check) then have you asked for them in the correct forum?

You need to advertise...Step up and place some advertising,
Done to death. Check back through the forums.

Commonly know as 'spamming', and likely an illegal use of collected personal data in many countries.
