And if I misplace something I only have to search through 500 very different looking items and not reams and albums of cards or stamps!

That’s right ‘’Pink’’ …So maybe you have big sales too…people buying like crazy….or people just search 500 very different looking items and still looking…or only ‘’you’’ search …and ‘’looking’’…...
@ Dzambo - it looks like people are following your advice and not posting in the forums as much.
When I click on the forums "New" - I am only getting one page of new, a few months ago there were 3 or 4 pages !
So I am not sure if this is due to people posting less and listing more
Or if its due to the "Northern Summer effect"
Or if its due to the fact that some interesting threads were getting pulled, which may put forum posters of bothering to post.
Well…’’babe’’…like I say before this auction site gives for every member for the membership money ‘’windows for whole world’’…and that’s is very important because even many seller’s on eBay figure out and know exactly what this mean and why many seller’s still selling on eBay doesn’t matter for very big fess, other things ‘’best offer options’’ is the best feature for any auction site and many just don’t yet figure out how can help you and how much money you can make it from this feature…I don’t know for sure but I think eBay implemented this feature first and help seller’s very much…as I know on eBay come first bunch of small items and collectibles’ before comes big quality items…but shipping prices kill heavy big quality items and from now on only ‘’light’’ quality items selling very good…In the end in my again personal opinion we still need much more Millions new items and every kind of items and that ‘’number’’ will catch buyer’s eye not ‘’threads’’ and only after that many seller's who are members in here can start ‘’real selling’’…’’windows to the world’’…AMEN’’….....
P.S. I say write before I need bunch of every my item to list in my store and in that way many my items is going to show up on Google search and is not important to me for the buyers to see my ‘’stamps’’ or ‘’cards’’ is it important to see me and my stores, after that life is simple... (It is only way because we don’t have big advertising and eBay is in many heads all around after many years)…Thanks for reply ''babe''.......
I don't know, I paid my $49.49 a month ago and have not sold one European Bead...have a few "lookers" but no takers....even at .50 a bead....so am I selling to the wrong market...like in the U.S. or do I need to go UK? Don't know a thing about shipping...don't want to hurt me but don't want to hurt the buyer either...is this a U.K. site?
Diana
High traffic...I'm dying here and can't believe ebay shut me off for a month! BUMMER! Haven't sold one item here or anywhere....someone help me before I drown in my own inventory of worthless crap! luvbichon (and that's a bereavement for my long lost Bichon Frise)
I don't know a thing about beads.
Have you looked at any other bead sellers on ebid ?
As you knew when you joined ebid, does not have anywhere near as many members, buyers, traffic as ebay. But we are the second biggest general auction site and growing steadily.
Hint - If you call you own inventory worthless c..p, how do you expect someone to pay for it !
The key to selling online to always be positive.
Have you used the Plug My Auctions feature ?
That's what is known in the UK as 'Doing a Ratner'. From when Gerald Ratner destroyed a highly successful business by joking that he was able to sell an item at such a low price because it was total crap. Destroyed his customer base overnight.
